The Brief
Molecular Sound created the sonic identity for Genius World, the first flagship event from Global Payments, held in Las Vegas from 24 to 27 August 2026. We wrote the music and the sound design for the event films, then adapted the hero track into cues for the whole four days, from CEO walk-ons to keynote introductions.
The Brief
Genius World was Global Payments putting its Genius platform in front of the industry, built around a walkable Main Street of eight storefronts, nearly fifty sessions, and speakers including Mike Krzyzewski and Roy Choi. Corporate event music has a default setting and that setting is stock. Uplifting piano, a long build, a major key resolve, and everybody in the room has heard it a hundred times before. Global Payments wanted the opposite. The sound had to feel current, closer to a consumer tech brand than a payments processor, and it had to hold up across four days without an audience getting tired of it.
The Sound
We cut to picture rather than writing a track and laying it underneath. That is what keeps the music and the sound design in the same piece instead of two layers competing for the same space. From there the hero track became the source for everything else. Walk-ons, keynote beds, stage transitions and stings were all pulled from the same material, so a delegate hearing a speaker introduced on day three was hearing the film they watched on day one, rebuilt at a different length and a different energy. One piece of music, a whole event's worth of variations, and nothing bought off a shelf.
One Track, A Whole Event
A four day event needs more than a piece of music. It needs a system. The hero track from the opening film became the source for everything the audience heard after it. A ninety second walk-in bed to bring a room to its seats, walk-on cues cut to the length of a specific executive's route to the stage, and beds sized for keynote introductions. Same harmonic material, same palette, different tempo, weight and length. That is what makes corporate event music and sound design hold an audience across four days rather than four minutes.
Deliverables
"Molecular Sound has been a creative partner of ours for years, and we trust them with our most visible work because they treat sound as part of the storytelling rather than a finishing touch. On a recent flagship client event, their craft and attention to detail lifted the work well beyond what we could have done alone. They understand what we want audiences to feel and know how to get us there."
